WHEREAS, the Board of Education recognizes that effective governance is essential for fostering a positive and productive environment that best serves students, educators, and the community; and
WHEREAS, clear and consistent board norms help ensure respectful communication, transparency, accountability, and effective decision-making.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby adopts board norms as guiding principles to promote effective governance and collaboration; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the board norms shall be reviewed periodically and revised as necessary to ensure ongoing governance accountability. |
