Rationale:
Westchester County Center Term: Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, 2025 Amount: $72,500.00 Scope: To hold the June 28, 2025 and June 29, 2025 graduation ceremonies for Barack Obama School for Social Justice, Roosevelt High School for Early College Studies, Charles E. Gorton High School, Lincoln High School, Riverside High School, Saunders Trades and Technical High School, and Yonkers High School at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave at the Bronx River Parkway, White Plains, New York.

Resolution
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to conduct the graduation ceremonies for 4 High Schools: Lincoln High School, Saunders Trades & Technical High School, Barack Obama School for Social Justice, and Yonkers High School on Saturday, June 28, 2025 and 3 High Schools: Riverside High School, Charles E. Gorton High School and Roosevelt High School Early College Studies on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the Westchester County Center and WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Westchester County Center to host the Yonkers Public Schools Graduations, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Westchester County Center at a cost not to exceed $72,500.00 It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
