Rationale:
|
This contract provides a means to extend by mutual consent of the parties annually for up two additional years under the same terms and conditions as bid.
This resolution is to authorize the Superintendent to extend the subject contract for the second time.
The first extension was via Resolution 16.11 dated March 18, 2020 increased the contract to $108,094.00 extended the contract to 730 calendar days.
The original award was via Resolution 20.4 dated April 24, 2019 for $54,047.00 and a term of 365 calendar days. |

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: Via Resolution 20.4 dated April 24, 2019 the Board authorized the award of CONTRACT No. 2019-00000838 for “Maintenance & Repair of Emergency & Exit Lights” in Yonkers Public Schools to Total Lighting Service LLC, in the amount of $54,047.00 and a term of 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS: Via Resolution 16.11 dated March 18, 2020 the Board authorized the extension of this contract increasing it to $108,094.00 and extending the term to 730 calendar days, and
WHEREAS: WHEREAS: the contract provides a means to extend this contract by mutual consent of the parties annually for up two additional years under the same terms and conditions as bid, and
WHEREAS: both parties have agreed to invoke this clause and extend this contract as described.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the second and final annual extension for Contract No. 2019-00000838 “Maintenance & Repair of Emergency and Exit Lights” to Total Lighting Service LLC, 49 Porter St., Watertown, CT 06795 in the amount of $54,047.00 increasing the contract from $108,094.00 to $162,141.00 and extending it to 1095 calendar days. |
