Rationale:
|
Adelaide Environmental Health Associates, Inc. Amount: $18,240.00 Scope: Adelaide Environmental Health Associates, Inc. (Adelaide) will be providing the AHERA required asbestos inspections, sampling and testing of suspect building materials assumed to contain asbestos for CIP 10826, “Classroom Additions” at School 30. Overview: To assign Adelaide under their existing “On-Call” Environmental Consulting Services Contract No. 2022-0815. Services will be performed on a time and material basis as per their contract hourly rates and unit prices for environmental testing. This RFP was only issued to Adelaide due to the Consultant’s history in performing District AHERA reports and testing at the school, and competitive rates already proposed under their Contract issued for RFQ-460. |

Resolution

WHEREAS via Resolution 18.13 dated May 18, 2022, the Board of Education authorized the award of an “On-Call” Environmental Consulting Services Contract No. 2022-0815 to Adelaide Environmental Health Associates, Inc. in response to District RFQ-460 for an amount not to exceed $1 million, and WHEREAS AHERA required asbestos inspections, sampling and testing of suspect building materials assumed to contain asbestos for CIP 10826 “Classroom Additions” at School 30, and WHEREAS the response by Adelaide Environmental Health Associates, Inc. to a request for proposal to provide such services was acceptable at a not to exceed cost of $18,240.00 for CIP 10826. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to assign Adelaide Environmental Health Associates, Inc. to the task of providing “On-Call” Environmental Project Monitoring Services for CIP 10826 “Classroom Additions” at School 30 at a cost not to exceed $18,240.00. |
