Scholastic is the publisher for the pre-kindergarten curriculum, Pre-K On My Way (PKOMW). In effort to support implementation of the curriculum with fidelity and provide the circumstances for the best outcomes for our pre-k students, the vendor will provide professional development. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Scholastic Education Solutions to provide professional development in the pre-kindergarten curriculum Pre-K On My Way to all pre-k classroom teachers in the 2024-2025 school year.
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Scholastic Education Solutions a program that meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Scholastic Education Solutions to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Scholastic Education Solutions professional development sessions for Pre-K On My Way at a cost not to exceed $11,995.00. |
