WHEREAS in accordance with Section 100.21(c) of Commissioner’s Regulations, the New York State Education Department requires that a school district submit notification when making changes to school configurations, and
WHEREAS Yonkers Public Schools, will change the configuration of the Robert Halmi, Sr. Academy of Film and Television, located at 463 Hawthorne Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10701, BEDS#662300010060 to create more cohesive academic pathways from 7th through 12th grade.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That we, the Members of the Board of Education, do hereby request the Board of Regents of the State of New York to change the grade configuration of the Robert Halmi, Sr. Academy of Film and Television at the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year. |
