Scope: Empowering Creative Minds LLC will provide services to support the Smart Scholars Program at Roosevelt High School-ECS and the Pathway for Forensics Science at Barack Obama School for Social Justice by providing professional learning and coaching sessions. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to amend a contract from Resolution 20.2 from August 16,2023 meeting with Empowering Creative Minds LLC in the amount of $29,925 to purchase consulting services to support Smart Scholars at Roosevelt High School-ECS and Pathway for Forensics Science at Barack Obama School for Social Justice for the 2023-2024 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Empowering Creative Minds, LLC a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend contract from Resolution 20.2 with Empowering Creative Minds, LLC to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend current contract with Empowering Creative Minds, LLC at a cost not to exceed $38,175.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office. |
