Fran Corp. (d.b.a. All Bright Electric)
Term: 365 calendar days
Amount: $1,223,000.00
Scope: The electrical contract includes:
-Montessori School 27 CIP 10953: new fire alarm, PA system, and replacement select corridor ceiling lights.
-Kahlil Gibran School CIP 10954: new fire alarm system.
-Westchester Hills School 29 CIP 10955: new fire alarm system.
-Paideia School 15 CIP 10956: new gym floor, lighting, doors and finishes.

Overview:
In compliance with General Municipal Law 103, bids were let and opened in public on April 12, 2024. Three (3) bids were received and reviewed. The bids were duly examined and all due diligence observed in determining that Fran Corp. is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The work was designed by Fuller & D’Angelo Architects. The highest bid was $2,046,400.00.

Resolution
WHEREAS bids were issued for public advertisement and opened on April 12, 2024 in compliance with General Municipal Law 103 for Bid No. 7116 Electrical Contract 2, for the “Building Upgrades – Part 2 of Playgrounds & Select Building Upgrades” at Montessori School 27, Kahlil Gibran School, Westchester Hills School 29 and Paideia School 15, Project Nos. 10953, 10954, 10955 and 10956, and

WHEREAS Such bids were duly examined and as a result the administration has determined that Fran Corp. (d.b.a. All Bright Electric), is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with a bid of $1,223,000.00.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to award Bid No. 7116 Electrical Contract 2, for the “Building Upgrades – Part 2 of Playgrounds & Select Building Upgrades” at Montessori School 27, Kahlil Gibran School, Westchester Hills School 29 and Paideia School 15, Project Nos. 10953, 10954, 10955 and 10956 to Fran Corp. (d.b.a. All Bright Electric), in an amount not to exceed $1,223,000.00 for a term of 365 calendar days.
