This it to award a PO for the procurement of a 2022 Ford Transit Van with VersaLift telescopic aerial platform lift (bucket truck) directly from VERSALIFT for $84,406.00 through their Sourcewell purchasing cooperative Contract #012418-TIM:

Purchase will be funded from the Equipment Capital Bond sold in In January 2021 for this purpose.
This truck is need to fill the void to access lower building features in tighter locations. The larger bucket truck is 20 years old, prone to breakdowns and nearing the end of its useful life.
The smaller van mounted unit will may prove to be more effective for most situations the District will encounter. |

Ladies and Gentlemen,
WHEREAS the School Facilities Management Department is in need of van mounted bucket lift vehicles for use of the Maintenance Department and,
WHEREAS the vehicle currently used in this capacity is 20 years old and has limited ability to serve in tight locations, and
WHEREAS such a vehicle, Ford Transit with Versalift telescoping aerial man-lift is available for purchase from Time Manufacturing Company (VERSALIFT) under a Sourcewell purchasing cooperative Contract #012418-TIM at a cost of $84,406.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a Purchase Order for one Ford Transit with Versalift telescoping aerial man-lift be issued to Time Manufacturing Company (VERSALIFT) 7601 Imperial Drive, Waco, Texas 76712-6608 for $84,406.00 for a term of 180 calendar days. |
