Scope: To authorize Amendment 2 to Service Contract 2023-0209 "Plumbing Maintenance & Repair Services ", to NY Home Maintenance Co. Inc (d/b/a A. Borrelli), for $178,300.00 and 365 calendar days.
This extension is for the second of the two contractually available annual extensions.
This is a general fund annual service contract to provide on-call plumbing work and annual mandatory gas service line testing in nine (9) buildings and plumbing maintenance and repair services throughout the District. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS via Board Resolution 17.9 dated July 20, 2022, Contract 2023-0209, “Plumbing Maintenance & Repair Services” was awarded to NY Home Maintenance Co. Inc. (d/b/a A. Borrelli), in the amount of $178,300.00 for a term of 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS via Board Resolution 16.24 dated July 19, 2023, Amendment #1 Extension #1 in the amount of $178,300.00 was approved, amending the contract from $178,300.00 to $356,600.00, increasing the term to 730 calendar days, and
WHEREAS bid specifications provide for annual extensions by mutual consent of both parties, under the same terms and conditions of the original contract for up to two years, and
WHEREAS the administration recommends the District invoke this renewal clause and renew the contract for another 365 calendar days in the amount of $178,300.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to extend annual service contract 2023-0209 for “Plumbing Maintenance & Repair Services” to NY Home Maintenance Co. Inc. (d/b/a A. Borrelli), in the amount of $178,300.00, increasing the total contract amount to $534,900.00 and the term to 1,095 calendar days. |
