Term: Summer of 2024
Amount: $27,200.00
Scope: Math for Love, LLC will provide the district with game-based math curriculum and hands-on materials for teachers and students that participate in the Summer Elementary Learning Academy (Grades K-6). The program will have two math classrooms in grade K and one math classroom in grades 1-6, in each of 4 sites (Paideia School 24, School 16, School 30, Rosemarie Ann Siragusa School). The Math for Love curriculum is entirely owned and developed by Math for Love, LLC making Math for Love, LLC a sole source provider. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into an agreement with Math for Love, LLC to purchase materials to support learning in mathematics during the Summer Elementary Learning Academy for the summer of 2024,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Math for Love, LLC a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Math for Love, LLC to purchase these materials, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Math for Love, LLC at a cost not to exceed $27,200.00. |
