Rationale:
|
This is to assign the subject task for “ Improvements to Gymnasium complex and Site Upgrades” at LHS to KG&D Architects.
Via Resolution 15.15 dated February 26, 2020 the Board authorized the award of contract 2020-0630 Architectural Services to KG&D Architects for $1 million and three years. This resolution is to assign the following specific capital work under that contract.
This project includes but is not limited to landscape restoration, new fencing, gym bleacher replacement, upgrades to gym lights, power and data outlets, speakers and clock. Computer lab and Library upgrades to include select interior finishes. Lighting, power and data outlets.
The current estimated cost for this project is $1,000,000.00 and is slated for construction of Summer 2022.
RFP420-21-31 was only issued to KG&D. Their design team has people already familiar with the school and have a good track record. |

|
Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: under Resolution 15.15 dated February 26, 2020, the Board authorized the award of Contract 2020-0630 for Architectural Services to KG&D Architects in response to District RFQ404 for an amount of $1,000,000.00, and
WHEREAS: architectural services as specified under the above contract are required for “ Improvements to Gymnasium complex and Site Upgrades” At Lincoln High School, and
WHEREAS: the response by KG&D, is to be deemed most advantageous to the District at a cost of $69,000.00 and a term of 730 calendar days.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to appoint KG&D Architects, P.C., 285 Main Street, Mt. Kisco, New York 10549 to the task of providing architectural services for CIP 10931, “Improvements to Gymnasium complex and Site Upgrades”, At Lincoln High School” RFP 420-21-31 under an On-Call Services Contract 2020-00000630 to KG&D Architects, P.C., in the amount of $69,000.00 for 730 calendar days. |
