Rationale:
|
This is to assign the subject design work for site work at Lincoln High School in response to RFP 420-21-28.
This project is currently expected to cost roughly $8 million. Scope includes new athletic facilities such as artificial turf field, new track and field event features, fencing, signage, security lighting and storage buildings. Other site work includes paving, fencing, sidewalk, etc in parking lots, locker room upgrades and new ceilings and lights in main building hallways. |

|
Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: under Resolution 15.15 dated February 26, 2020, the Board of Education authorized the award of requirements based, Architectural/Engineering Services Contract No. 2020-0629 to H2M Engineers which expires and will be extended in March of 2022 in response to District RFP404 for an amount not to exceed $1 million and a term of 3 calendar years.
WHEREAS: work as defined under that contract is required for CIP10930 “Building & (Athletic) Site Upgrades” at Lincoln High School, and
WHEREAS:RFP 420-21-28 was issued to procure theses services from the best responder to the RFP, and
WHEREAS: H2M Architects & Engineers provided the best response and the lowest cost proposal at $440,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to appoint H2M Architects & Engineers, 538 Broad Hollow Road, 4th Floor East, Melville, NY 11747 to the task of providing A/E services for CIP10930 “Building & (Athletic) Site Upgrades” at Lincoln High School for the amount of $440,000 and a term ending in March 2022. |
