Term: 365 calendar days
Amount: $54,510.50
Scope: To award a Non-CIP Fund Purchase Order for one (1) 2024 Ford Transit-250 Cargo High Roof Van via Westchester County Contract RFB-WC-23369 “Full Size Cargo Vans” to Nielsen Ford of Morristown. This is a direct replacement for a current aged van and will be a one to one swap with an older vehicle that is beyond its useful life. There is no increase in the number of vehicles in the fleet. Purchase will be funded from the Equipment Capital Bond sold in February 2021. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Nielsen Ford of Morristown to purchase one (1) 2024 Ford Transit-250 Cargo High Roof Van for use by our Maintenance Department, and
WHEREAS the vehicles currently used daily throughout the district that are no longer economically serviceable will be taken out of service and in short order put up for public auction, and
WHEREAS a replacement vehicle is available for purchase via Westchester County Contract RFB-WC-23369 “Full Size Cargo Vans” to Nielsen Ford of Morristown for a term of 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Nielsen Ford of Morristown to provide a direct replacement vehicle, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Nielsen Ford of Morristown via Westchester County Contract RFB-WC-23369 “Full Size Cargo Vans” at a cost not to exceed $54,510.50. |
