WHEREAS the District desires to maintain its field in the summer and clear its sidewalks in the winter at the Robert Halmi Sr. Academy of Film and Television, and
WHEREAS such maintenance and clearing is most cost effectively performed by machines such as the John Deere X738 Signature Series Tractor, and
WHEREAS this tractor is available for purchase through the NYS OGS Award PGB-22792 PC69683 from Deere and Company 2000 John Deere Run, Cary, North Carolina, 27513 through R. Argento and Sons, Inc., 1 Prospect Avenue, White Plains, NY 10607.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue a Non-CIP fund purchase order to Deere and Company in the amount of $20,785.36 for a term of 180 calendar days. |
