UniFirst Corporation Term: 365 calendar days Amount: $125,000.00 Scope: To provide rental uniforms for the 265 custodians and maintenance workers in School Facilities Department. This procurement of uniforms is being awarded to UniFirst Corporation on the basis of “Best Value” utilizing the Sourcewell purchasing cooperative Contract #040920-UFC, where UniFirst Corporation was awarded and ranked #1 in the Sourcewell Request for Proposal. Additionally, a comparative cost analysis was performed between UniFirst and Cintas, the District’s preferred vendor under Contract# 2022-0490. Cintas’ provides discounts off list for uniform rentals between 10-30% whereas Unifirst’s offer provides the District with deeper discounts of 14-52% for the same quality of uniforms. Furthermore, the District expects to save approximately $60,000 by entering into this new agreement. Overview: • Weekly pick up and drop off of rental uniforms for 265 employees • Lockers and soil bins are included • Flat rate billings – Weekly cost includes emblems, damages, and set up for new garments • Each employee gets 11 shirts and 11 pants |
