New York State legislation known as Safe Schools Against Violence in Education Act (S.A.V.E), Chapter 181 of the laws of 2000 requires the annual review and adoption of Building-Level Emergency Response Plans for each school building within the District. Building-Level emergency response plans are to be kept extremely confidential as they contain sensitive information such as the practices to be used in the event of an emergency and personal contact information for Administrators and District staff. Building-level plans are for official use only and are not to be shared with the public.
Whereas the Board of Education wishes to adopt the 2024-2025 Building-Level Emergency Response Plans.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Yonkers Board of Education hereby adopts the 2024-2025 Building-Level Emergency Response Plans. |
