Rationale:

This is to assign the professional engineering design work for CIP 10946 Yonkers Middle/High School Underground Fuel Oil Storage Tank Replacement to H2M Engineers for $142,500.00 and a term of 365 calendar days. H2M has been selected as a result of the examination of the responses to RFP 420-21-22 for which there were only 2 responders. Fuller & D’Angelo came in at $162,000.00. Including soft costs, this project is currently budgeted at $2.5 million. The scope of work includes decommissioning two 47-year-old 25,000-gallon underground heating oil storage tanks buried in the main courtyard. It is intended to fill and leave these two tanks in place and install new above ground tanks at a more accessible location. |
