Scope: Amendment 6 to increase Contract No. 2022-0796 by $50,000.00 to provide continued service repairs of electric motors and pumps. There are existing motors and pumps that have exceeded their useful life and need repairs/replacement. This is a time and materials based contract, on an as-needed basis. There is no change in contract term. Contract term remains at 1,095 calendar days. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS via Resolution 16.4 dated April 20, 2022, the Board of Education authorized the award of Contract No. 2022-0796 to A&C Furia Electric Motors, Inc., for $22,125.00 and a term of 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS via Resolution 11.5 dated November 20, 2024, the Board of Education approved the assignment, all rights, interest, obligations, and duty of performance of A&C Furia Electric Motors Inc., Contract No. 2022-0796 “Service and Repair of Electric Motors and Pumps” be assigned to A&C/Furia Electric Motors LLC, and
WHEREAS Amendment 6 is recommended for additional work under said contract, including but not limited to, the repair/replacement of the pumps and motors throughout the District.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue Amendment 6 to Contract No. 2022-0796 “Service and Repair of Electric Motor & Pumps” to A&C/Furia Electric Motors LLC for $50,000.00, increasing the contract from $166,375.00 to $216,375.00 with no change in contract term. Contract term remains at 1,095 calendar days. |
