Rationale:
|
This is to piggyback onto City of Yonkers Contract 2023-0035 “Pick-Up, Removal and Lawful Disposal of Debris” with State Contracting Corp of NY who will provide 30-yard dumpsters on an as needed basis. The cost will not exceed $10,000.00 for 365 days.
This is for a variety of locations throughout the District including the warehouse clean out at 201 Saw Mill River Road. |

Resolution
|
Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: The District desires that its facilities be reasonably free of clutter and rubbish by providing for lawful disposal via dumpsters as needed, and
WHEREAS: The need to discard trash and debris from the current warehouse and other sites is necessary to ensure a seamless move for both School Facilities and Food Services, and
WHEREAS: Such service is available by attachment onto City of Yonkers Contract 2023-0035 “Pick-Up, Removal and Lawful Disposal of Debris” with State Contracting Corp of NY who will provide 30-yard dumpsters on an as needed basis.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent be authorized to enter into a service agreement with State Contracting Corp of NY, 555 Saw Mill River Road, Yonkers, NY 10701 for waste removal services for a cost not to exceed $10,000.00 for 365 days through the City of Yonkers Contract 2023-0035 “Pick-Up, Removal and Lawful Disposal of Debris”. |
