Scope: Rethink Autism, Inc. will provide both an online Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Mental Health (MH) curriculum to help students develop social and emotional skills as well as mental health protective factors. Virtual and onsite professional services trainings, which include platform implementation support, topic specific workshops, and coaching to meet the needs of staff utilizing the program will also be provided. |

|
WHEREAS the Yonkers Board of Education wishes to enter a contract with Rethink Autism, Inc. to purchase access to their online Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Mental Health (MH) curriculum and implementation supports to help students develop social and emotional skills as well as mental health protective factors for the term of August 1, 2024 - October 31, 2024
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Rethink Autism, Inc. a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Rethink Autism, Inc. to purchase access to their online curriculum and implementation supports, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Rethink Autism, Inc. at a cost not to exceed $99,995.00
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office. |
