Saint Joseph’s Hospital Yonkers School Based Health Program
Term: September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2029
Amount: $750,000.00
Scope: The School Based Health Program will provide a core of comprehensive, age appropriate, primary care services to students enrolled in the SBHC. Services will include comprehensive physicals, immunizations, screening for depression and other age appropriate developmental screenings. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with St. Joseph’s Hospital to purchase consulting services to support accessibility and availability of high-quality comprehensive primary and preventive physical and mental health care services to preschool, elementary, middle and secondary school students in high-risk areas of Yonkers, as approved by the New York State Department of Health ("NYSDOH").for the 2024-2025 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with St. Joseph’s Hospital a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with St. Joseph’s Hospital to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with St. Joseph’s Hospital at a cost not to exceed $750,000.00
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office. |
