Term: September 1, 2020- August 31, 2021
Amount: $226,471.40
Scope: $408,793.50 was the original contract BOE approved (18.4) on 10/21/2020. This Amendment in the aforementioned amount will add services based on funding awarded to non-public Archdiocesan schools through the CARES ACT- ESSER and GEER funds. This funding will be utilized to provide additional services for Title I at-risk students for English Language Arts and Mathematics. Services will be provided for the eligible Title I students through Synchronous and Asynchronous Literacy and Math Intervention, STEM, Robotics, Social Emotional Learning, Counseling, parent engagement, professional development for Teachers and any additional services allowable by Title I via technology such as computers, chrome books, iPad, phones or any combination of the aforementioned.

Resolution
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Catapult Learning to purchase consulting services to provide Title I supplemental virtual instructional services to eligible students in selected non-public schools. Catapult Learning will also provide parent engagement materials and activities as per the Title I federal guidelines and will also provide professional development services, instructional tutorial services and counseling services to selected non-public schools for the 2020-2021 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Catapult Learning a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Catapult Learning to provide these services, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Catapult Learning at a cost not to exceed $635,264.90

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
