Term: December 2023 - June 2024 Amount: $22,237.00 Scope: Provide hands-on practical experience in the health Information technology and medical technology fields to students in the Yonkers Public Schools, Gorton High School P-Tech Program. The hospital staff and employees will provide on-site student support, lessons, demonstrations, and externships including nursing, first -aid, therapy, laboratory, imaging technology, health assisting, bio-medical engineering, access to student certification programs and medical career counseling |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with St. John’s Riverside Hospital to purchase consulting services to provide hands-on practical experience in the health Information technology and medical technology fields to students in the Yonkers Public Schools, Gorton High School P-Tech Program for the 2023-2024 school year, WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with St. John’s Riverside Hospital a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and, WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with St. John’s Riverside Hospital to provide these services, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with St. John’s Riverside Hospital at a cost not to exceed $22,237.00. |
