Scope: The Electrical Contract includes the replacement of ceiling lights for eight classrooms, furnish and install new emergency generator and transferring select power receptacles and HVAC equipment from the normal power panels to the emergency power panels.
Overview:
In compliance with General Municipal Law 103, bids were let and opened in public on March 22, 2024. Seven (7) bids were received, examined and all due diligence observed in determining that Fran Corp. (d.b.a. All Bright Electric), is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The work was designed by Fuller & D’Angelo Architects who estimated the value of the work at $517,000. The highest bid was $867,000.

Ladies and Gentlemen;
WHEREAS Bids were issued for public advertisement and opened on March 22, 2024 in compliance with General Municipal Law 103 for Bid No. 7094 Electrical Work, Contract 2 of 2 for the “Building & Electrical Contracts for Phase 3 – Windows & Ceiling Replacement and New Generator” at Westchester Hills School 29 Project No. 10878, and
WHEREAS Such bids were duly examined and as a result the administration has determined that Fran Corp. (d.b.a. All Bright Electric), is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with a bid of $563,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to award Bid No. 7094 Electrical Work, Contract 2 of 2, for Project No. 10878 for the “Building & Electrical Contracts for Phase 3 – Windows & Ceiling Replacement and New Generator” at Westchester Hills School 29 to Fran Corp. (d.b.a. All Bright Electric), in an amount not to exceed $563,00.00 for a term of 365 calendar days.
