ELD Apparel, LLC Term: September 2022- June 2023 Amount: $13,068 Scope: To purchase supplemental school supplies and care kits to be provided to Yonkers Public Schools displaced students. School kits consist of 30 piece school supplies (bookbags, pencils, rulers, markers, color pencils, notebooks, glue). Care Kits will hold items that essential to students experiencing homelessness (toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brush and other personal care items) |

Resolution

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with ELD Apparel, LLC to purchase supplemental school supplies and care kits to be provided to Yonkers Public Schools displaced students will be provided to the Yonkers Public Schools to meet the requirements of the American Rescue Plan (ARP Act) Homeless Children and Youth II (HCY II)Grants for the 2022-2023 school year, WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with ELD Apparel, LLC a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and, WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with ELD Apparel, LLC to provide these services, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with ELD Apparel, LLC at a cost not to exceed $13,068.00 It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office. |
