This is an Agreement with Vista Higher Learning to provide all materials and resources for the adoption of their 7-12 World Language Curriculum: Senderos, Sentieri and Temas textbooks, professional development and a six-year digital subscription for grades 7-12. This program will provide curricular resources to support World Language instruction in grades 7-12. Specifically, this agreement includes, textbooks and digital licenses for teachers and students. |

Resolution

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Vista Higher Learning, Inc to purchase materials, resources and consulting services to support the adoption of their 7-12 World Language Curriculum for the 2025-2029 school years,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Vista Higher Learning, Inc a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Vista Higher Learning, Inc to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Vista Higher Learning, Inc
at a cost not to exceed $671,139.05 for four years at $167,784.75 per year.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office. |
