Scope: Extend capital-funded contract for On-Call "Materials Testing and Special Inspection Services" to Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists and Land Surveyors, D.P.C. for 365 calendar days with no increase in the funding limit.
Overview:
Via resolution 18.15 dated July 21, 2021, the Board of Education awarded contracts to Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists and Land Surveyors, D.P.C. – Contract No. 2022-0364, and Advance Testing Company, Inc. – Contract No. 2022-0363, for an amount not to exceed $500,000.00 each, for a period of twenty-four-month contract.
The contracts have an option to renew for two, 12-month periods. This resolution is to invoke the second of the two extensions extending the terms, with no increase to the funding limit, for the capital funded contract for On-Call “Materials Testing and Special Inspection Services” to:
Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists and Land Surveyors, D.P.C. - Contract No. 2022-0364.
Contract No. 2022-0363 with Advance Testing Company, Inc. cannot be extended due to contractual issues. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS the District has a need for On-Call “Materials Testing and Special Inspection Services” for the maintenance and improvement of its physical plant, and
WHEREAS via resolution 18.15 dated July 21, 2021, the Board of Education awarded contracts to Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists and Land Surveyors, D.P.C. – Contract No. 2022-0364, and Advance Testing Company, Inc. – Contract No. 2022-0363, for an amount not to exceed $500,000.00 each, for a period of twenty-four-month contract, and
WHEREAS said contract provides for the option to renew by mutual consent under the same terms and conditions for up to two, 12-month periods, and
WHEREAS there is mutual consent of the parties to extend this contract for the second of the two possible extensions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to extend Contract No. 2022-0364 with Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists and Land Surveyors, D.P.C. for On-Call “Materials Testing and Special Inspection Services” by 365 calendar days, with no increase to the funding limit. |
