Hudson River Museum Term: October 2024-June 2025 Amount: $30,000 Scope: The Hudson River Museum will provide direct services to Enrico Fermi School students in this program at the Hudson River Museum, during the week. The Hudson River Museum is known for imaginative, thought-provoking exhibitions of contemporary and historical art, its evolving permanent collection and ongoing restoration and interpretation of Glenview Mansion, groundbreaking exhibits about regional history, and hands-on science and art programs for all ages. |

Resolution

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Hudson River Museum will provide direct services to students in this program at the Museum, during the week. The Hudson River Museum is known for imaginative, thought-provoking exhibitions of contemporary and historical art, its evolving permanent collection and ongoing restoration and interpretation of Glenview Mansion, groundbreaking exhibits about regional history, and hands-on science and art programs for all ages for the 2024-25 school year, WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Hudson River Museum a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and, WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Hudson River Museum to provide these services, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Hudson River Museum at a cost not to exceed $30,000. It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office. |
