WHEREAS RFB-7226 was publicly advertised and opened on September 6, 2024 in compliance with General Municipal Law 103 for “Purchase of Armstrong Safety Zone and 995 Safety Glue, Johnsonite, Black Reducer, Cove Base and Cove Base Glue” for the replacement of auditorium flooring at Paideia School 24 and Barack Obama School for Social Justice, and
WHEREAS three (3) such bids were received and duly examined and the administration has determined that Bellmore Home Center, Inc. d/b/a Costello’s Ace Hardware, is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with a bid of $24,284.75.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Bellmore Home Center, Inc. d/b/a Costello’s Ace Hardware, for RFB-7226 “Purchase of Armstrong Safety Zone and 995 Safety Glue, Johnsonite, Black Reducer, Cove Base and Cove Base Glue” in the amount not to exceed $24,284.75 for a term of 365 calendar days. |
