Rationale:
|
Amendment to CAPITAL Task Assignment CIP10946 “Fuel Tank Replacement and Other Improvements” at Yonkers Middle High School for H2M Architects & Engineers., PO 2023-1191 in the amount of $34,048.20 increasing the fee for this task to $176,548.20.
Via Resolution 20.8 at their stated meeting on June 14, 2022 the Board of Trustees awarded the above subject assignment to H2M Architects & Engineers in the amount of $142,500 under their requirements contract 2020-0629.
This amendment is to increase the additional services and reimbursable fees to cover additional expenses which were not asked for in the RFP and are required to complete the designs. These services include site survey, performing soil borings for the determination of rock removal, hazardous materials testing, designs for abatement of hazardous materials and printing and shipping. |

Resolution
|
Ladies and Gentlemen;
WHEREAS: under Resolution 20.8 dated June 14, 2022 the Board of Education authorized the award of PO 2023-00001191 for design services on CIP10946 “Fuel Tank Replacement and Other Improvements” at Yonkers Middle High School to H2M Architects & Engineers I the amount of $142,500.00, and
WHEREAS: additional work, not included in the original scope of work is required including; site survey, soil borings, hazardous materials testing & remediation designs, and
WHEREAS: An amendment in the amount of $34,048.20 is required to completes these additional services.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to amend PO 2023-1191 with H2M Architects & Engineers, for design services on CIP 10946 “Fuel Tank Replacement and Other Improvements” at Yonkers Middle High School for $34,048.20, increasing the cost from $142,500 to $176,548.20 and no change in term. |
