Univerus Software Canada Inc.
Term: 365 calendar days
Amount: $11,710.66
Scope: To authorize a renewal to Service Contract No. 2024-0136 for
the software required to control the booking of the various school facilities to Yonkers Based Community Organizations from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 in the amount of $11,710.66. This represents an increase of $417.83 from last year’s amount of $11,292.83.
The District has been using a software called Univerus Software Canada Inc. (Formerly Book King), who will be handling our booking needs for the 2024/2025 school year. During this year we will be transitioning to a new platform from Brightly Software Inc., “Event Manager Enterprise”. Book King will be phased out on or before June 30, 2025. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS the District has been using “Book King”, a building use scheduling software supplied and supported by Pacific Tier Solutions for more than ten years, and
WHEREAS Pacific Tier Solutions has been incorporated into Univerus Software Canada Inc., and
WHEREAS Univerus Software Canada Inc., will supply and support said software at the acceptable rate of $11,710.66 for a term of 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS the administration recommends the award of a purchase order for these services.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue a purchase order for the annual subscription for “Book King Software" to Univerus Software Canada Inc., for $11,710.66 and a term of 365 calendar days. |
