Scope: This is an amendment to June 17, 2020 resolution #14.2 in the amount of $277,075.40 (BOE approved 6/17/20, BOCS(2021-00000216) approved 6/25/20 and represents an increase of $21,682.50 to include the cost of unified PowerSchool Enrollment services and for Services Rendered for the Maintenance and Support of Suspension Letter functionality. The total contract amount will be $298,757.90.

Resolution
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to amend its existing contract with PowerSchool for hosting and maintenance fees for the 2020-2021 school year. This Amendment is : a renewal for PowerSchool Unified Administration Enrollment, and balance for services rendered for SIS Customizations, Maintenance and Support.

WHEREAS this amends a resolution for Power School’s choice process, as well as the ability to generate accurate enrollment reports. It is the second year of a three-year contract signed in the 2018-2019 school year securing access to PowerSchool Unified Administration Enrollment formerly known as Info Snap.This application will provide the Registration-Community Affairs Department and their constituents with a simplified annual school choice process, increase staff productivity and efficiency as well as save time and money. The system will provide additional reports which will assist in more informed decision making with regard to placement as well as gather and upload all relevant documentation directly into the system, and

WHEREAS this amends the resolution for payment of Maintenance and Support of SIS Customizations specifically for use of suspension letters in PowerSchool,

WHEREAS since this is a hosted application all maintenance, support, upgrades and backing up of data is included with the annual subscription.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Power School at a cost not to exceed 298,757.90.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
