WHEREAS the Commissioner's Regulations specify that a district that seeks to register a new public school shall submit a petition for registration to the Board of Regents, and
WHEREAS the Yonkers Public Schools, in response to the District's growing enrollment, is establishing the Community School #35 (Temporary Name) a new prekindergarten to grade eight school.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That we, the Members of the
Board of Education, do hereby request the Board of Regents of the State of New York to register the Community School #35 (Temporary Name) as a new school in the Yonkers Public Schools district. |
