Rationale:
|
This contract has provision for two 12-month extensions by mutual agreement under the same terms and conditions of the original agreement.
This resolution is to extend Contract 2022-0762 “AHERA Triennial Re-Inspection Services” with LIRO Engineers, Inc. for a term of 365 calendar days increasing the term to 730 calendar days. There is no increase in funding.
The purpose of this extension is to facilitate additional sampling, testing & reporting services and updating of district provided bid documents. |

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: the District has issued publicly advertised Request for Proposal, 420-22-01 to procure Professional Environmental Services in accordance with General Municipal Law, and
WHEREAS: Board Item 15.24 dated March 16, 2022 was approved awarding Contract 2022-0762 to LIRO Engineers, Inc. in the amount of $147,650.00 for a term of 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS: the administration recommends the extension of said contract for 365 calendar days extending the term to 730 calendar days.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to extend the Non-Academic Professional Environmental Services Contract 2022-0762 “AHERA Triennial Re-Inspection Services” to LIRO Engineers, Inc., 3 Aerial Way Syosset, NY 11791 for a term of 365 calendar days increasing the term to 730 calendar days without an increase in contract amount. |
