Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: The seventy-eight (78) doors and hardware at Yonkers Montessori Academy have exceeded their useful life and are no longer serviceable and need to be replaced, and
WHEREAS: In accordance with New York State Finance Law §163(10)(e), the District is allowed to “piggyback” on a contract award from the Bayshore Union Free School District, General Building Maintenance Involving New Construction, Reconstruction and Demolition, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the award for the Replacement of seventy-eight (78) interior doors and hardware at Yonkers Montessori Academy be awarded to RENU Contracting Restoration, 1215 Sunrise Highway, Copiague, N.Y. 11726 for the total amount of $274,190.00., for a term of 365 calendar days. |
