Overview:
RFP 420-23-02 for “Classroom Additions” at School 30 requires revising the proposal to break out the Architectural Engineering (AE) fees associated with the demolition of the School 30 modular building. The modular building has its own NY State Education Department building number and this requires a separate Yonkers Public Schools capital project and recording of AE fees for the demolition of the modular building under the “Classroom Additions” project.
CIP 10826 is for the main school building classroom addition. CIP 10968 is for the demolition of the modular building. KG+D’s fee for PO 2024-5943 is to be split with CIP 10826 in the amount of $247,680.00 and CIP 10968 in the amount of $10,320.00.

Resolution:

WHEREAS via Resolution 15.6 dated February 28, 2024, the Board of Education authorized the assignment to KG+D Architects, P.C. for Architectural/ Engineering services on CIP 10826, “Classroom Additions” at School 30, and
WHEREAS an amendment is required for capital funding source change for CIP 10826 and CIP 10968, and
WHERAS there is no change in fee or duration.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend Purchase Order 2024-5943 to KG+D Architects, P.C., revising the capital fund sources for CIP 10826 and CIP 10968 “Classroom Additions” at School 30, with no change in fee or duration.
