Rationale: This is to close-out the listed capital contracts and/or purchase orders with credit amendments and/or change orders. The credits are due to the deletion of work and/or a balance of unused contingency or reimbursable funds and for Purchase Orders with outstanding encumbrances under expired Contracts. There is no change in the contract terms. The unused funds (in this case $27,912.80) are freed up to be used on capital projects.

Resolution: WHEREAS the contracted work on the contracts and/or purchase orders by the vendors as listed herein has been completed and accepted by the Yonkers Public Schools, and

WHEREAS the execution of such contracts has resulted in a balance of unused contract funds, and

WHEREAS this balance is to be returned to the Capital funds for use on projects via change orders and amendments as so listed:

Amendment 1 PO 2024-00004951, CIP 10955, GC Services, to Peter J Landi Inc. for ($13,643.69) decreasing the PO amount from $130,000.00 to $116,356.31.

Amendment 1 PO 2023-00006223, CIP 10878, Plumbing Services, to Joe Lombardo Plumbing & Heating of Rockland Inc. for ($14,269.11) decreasing the PO amount from $166,000.00 to $151,730.89.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to execute these change orders and amendments so listed.
