Mico Cooling Corp. 30 Ramland Road; Ste 103 Orangeburg, NY 10962 TERM: July 1, 2020-June 30, 2021 TOTAL AWARD: $157,000.00 SCOPE: The vendor will provide repairs and maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment, as needed in YPS kitchens and cafeterias as specified in RFB 6548. CONTRACTOR: Lowest bid not accepted with rationale submitted to the Purchasing Department stating inadequate vendor past performance. Vendor was recalled on several occasions to repair equipment previously repaired. Delayed response to emails and vendor stated capital not always available to order required parts.

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with MICO COOLING CORP. for repairs and maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment for the 2020-2021 school year. WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with MICO COOLING CORP. to provide these services. NOW THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with MICO COOLING CORP at a cost not to exceed $157,000.00
