|
This is to provide 1,764 50lb bags of snow & ice control agents (Rock Salt) for all District owned and operated buildings.
The New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID) satisfies the purchasing needs of state agencies, political subdivisions and public benefit corporations while creating employment for New Yorkers with disabilities.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: the district is required to clear all snow and ice from all entrances, walkways, and stairs to all of its schools and other facilities, and
WHEREAS: Snow & Ice Control Agents (Rock Salt) is available for procurement from New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID) 11 Columbia Cir W Dr, Albany, NY 12203 under New York State office of General Service preferred source, and
WHEREAS: in accordance with General Municipal Law, the administration recommends such procurement under this NYSOGS preferred source,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the award for the purchase and delivery of Snow & Ice Control Agents (Rock Salt) to the District Facilities be made to New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID) 11 Columbia Cir W Dr, Albany, NY 12203 in the amount of $12,287.24.
