Rationale: Interactive Health will create a video that will highlight the transformative teaching practices in blended/remote instruction and to inspire a shift in teaching that encourages innovation, interaction and interconnectedness. This film will be used on the YPS Rethink K-12 Education Website and serve as a model for NYS school districts. The cost of $12,000 for this product is part of the Rethink Grant Award and will take place between May 2021-June 30, 2021.
Funding: Funding to cover the $12,000 is through the NYSED K12 Rethink Grant from May 2021-June 30, 2021

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Interactive Health to develop a video that highlights innovative teaching practices as part of the NYSED Rethink K-12 Education Model Grant project between May and June 30, 2021.

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Interactive Health a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Interactive Health to provide these services, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Interactive Health at a cost not to exceed $12,000.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education ("BOE") and the City of Yonkers (the "City") as filed in the office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City's Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel's Office.
