Rationale:
|
This resolution is to set aside funding and provide for the monthly rental payments of 45 parking spaces by the Board of Education from the Yonkers Parking Authority in the Buena Vista Garage.
This is for 45 spaces at a fee of $50 per space per month. This is $2,250.00 per month or $27,000 per year.
The Board has been renting these spaces at the same rate since July 2013. The YPA will be billing the District monthly.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS; forty five (45) suitable parking spaces are available from Yonkers Parking Authority at their Buena Vista Garage facility, and
WHEREAS; the cost for these spaces is acceptable at $50.00 per month per space at a total annual cost of $27,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Education of the City of Yonkers will rent forty-five (45) parking spaces from the Yonkers Parking Authority at their Buena Vista Garage Facility at a cost of $50.00 per month per space at a total annual cost of $27,000.
