Rationale:
|
This increases the contract amount from $162,430 to $172,430.00 with no change in the contract term.
This change order is required for District directed work to install new and/or replace failed fencing at Westchester Hills School 29 and the Barack Obama School for Social Justice. Along with other fence and railing repairs, the original contract amount of $162,430.00 will be exhausted and exceeded by $10,000.00. Funds are required for the two critical months left in the contract that expires on January 31, 2023.

Ladies and Gentlemen;
WHEREAS: By Resolution 16.3 dated December 15, 2021 the Board of Trustees authorized the award of Contract 2022-0465 for “Fence Installation and Repair” to WBE Fence Company, Inc. for $10,000.00 and a term of 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS: Additional work is required most notably to install new and/or replace failed fencing at Westchester Hills School 29 and the Barack Obama School for Social Justice at a cost of $10,000.00 and no change in term.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to issue Change Order 1 to Contract 2022-0465 for “Fence Installation and Repair” to WBE Fence Company, Inc. 11 Deer Court, Brewster, NY. 10509 for $10,000.00 increasing the contract from $162,430 to $172,430.00 with no change in the contract term.
