As required Yonkers Public Schools is requesting approval to AWARD RFB#6514(A) Special Services - In/Out District (sick vans & related services) to Phillips Trans, Special Education Out of District services to Phillip Trans ($462,378.00), AWARD/AMEND contract amounts for VP Bus ($1,532,636.20), Mat Bus ($911,172.20), All County ($3,221.970.00) and First Student ($16,349,158.13), Special Services Out of District- Intakes to First Student and Phillips Trans and 5hrs Late Buses to First Student. WHEREAS, the following is contingent upon the lowest responsible bidders complying with Section 112 of the City Code of the City of Yonkers regarding Hack Licenses and all other requirements of RFB#6514(A) and WHEREAS, the Yonkers Public Schools Board of Education award RFB#6514(A), Yonkers Board of Education wishes enter into contract with Phillips Bus and Award/Amend contracts: All County, Mat Bus, First Student and VP Buses for Special Education Out of District services and award First Student - 5HRS Late Buses for the 2020-21 school year with the option to extend. And, be it further resolved that in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contracts awarded and amended, routes may be added, routes may be deleted, routes may otherwise modified, or routes may be extended,if required and such modifications are hereby approved on condition that no such modification mat exceed ten percent (10%) of the contract price set forth without prior approval of the Board of Education. And be it further resolved that the Yonkers Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into transportation contract negotiations and agreements for the 2020-21 school year, including for both public and private/parochial school students. It is acknowledged and agree that pursuant to the terms of that certain inter municipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education ("BOE") and the City of Yonkers (the "City") as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014 the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City's Board of Contracts and Supply. Furthermore, this agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by all parties.
