The Yonkers Public Schools is requesting the purchase of various computer technology, audio/video equipment and ancillary supplies to support the Business & Media Communications Program at Roosevelt High School-Early College Studies. This is a NYSED-approved CTE Program. These purchases are supported by funding from the Carl D. Perkins Secondary Grant.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with B & H Photo & Electronics Corp. DBA B&H Photo Video to purchase equipment to support the Business & Media Communications Program at Roosevelt High School-Early College Studies for the 2021-2022 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with B & H Photo & Electronics Corp. DBA B&H Photo Video a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with B & H Photo & Electronics Corp. DBA B&H Photo Video to provide the services, and,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED; That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with B & H Photo & Electronics Corp. DBA B&H Photo Video at a cost not to exceed $15,313.95.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
