Scope: To authorize Amendment 4 to the General Fund Service Contract 2022-0796 for “Service and Repair of Electric Motors and Pumps” with A&C Furia, Inc. with A & C Furia Electric Motors, Inc for $22,125.00.
This extension is for the second of two contractually available annual extensions.
This is an on-call service as needed or requirements contract. The vendor performs only as directed by the District.

Resolution:

WHEREAS: via Resolution 16.4 dated April 20, 2022 the Board authorized the award of Contract 2022-0796 to A&C Furia in the amount of $22,125.00 for a term of 365 days, and
WHEREAS: via Resolution 15.14 dated November 16, 2022 the Board authorized the change order of Contract 2022-0796 to A&C Furia in the amount of $50,000.00, and
WHEREAS: via Resolution 19.27 dated June 21, 2023 the Board authorized the 1st extension to Contract 2022-0796 to A&C Furia in the amount of $22,125.00 for a term of 365 days, and
WHEREAS: via Resolution 16.13 dated November 15, 2023 the Board authorized the change order of Contract 2022-0796 to A&C Furia in the amount of $50,000.00, and
WHEREAS: there is mutual consent of the parties to extend said contract for the second one-year period.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Superintendent of Schools is authorized to execute Amendment 4 for Contract 2022-0796 “Service and Repair of Electric Motor & Pumps” to A&C Furia 75 Lafayette Avenue, White Plains, NY 10603 in the amount of $22,125.00 increasing the contract from $144,250.00 to $166,375.00 and extending the contract for 365 days.
