Amount: $21,884.17
Scope: To award a general fund purchase order to furnish and install one multi-sport scoreboard at Yonkers Montessori Academy to Nevco Sports, LLC.
Overview:
The existing football scoreboard was purchased and installed in 2013. There were repairs made in 2017 and 2018. Currently there have been multiple malfunctions including an inoperable timer and intermittent power disruptions. The unit has lived beyond its useful life.
The new multi-sport board is being procured through Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing contract (#030223-NVC) with Nevco Sports, LLC.

Resolution:
|
WHEREAS the District desires that its athletics program facilities be at optimum condition, and
WHEREAS the football scoreboard at Yonkers Montessori Academy is no longer operational and beyond servicing, and
WHEREAS a new scoreboard is available for purchase from Nevco Sports, LLC, through the Sourcewell Purchasing Cooperative, and
WHEREAS in accordance with General Municipal Law 104b, the District is permitted to avail itself of the goods awarded in this contract, and
WHEREAS an acceptable quote to furnish and install one scoreboard from Nevco Sports, LLC was received at a total of $21,884.17.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue a general fund purchase order to Nevco Sports, LLC, to furnish and install one scoreboard at Yonkers Montessori Academy in the amount $21,884.17 and a term of 365 calendar days.
