In accordance with Section 100.21(c) of Commissioner’s Regulations, the New York State Education Department requires that a school district submit notification when making changes to school configurations.

WHEREAS in accordance with Section 100.21(c) of Commissioner’s Regulations, the New York State Education Department requires that a school district submit notification when making changes to school configurations, and
WHEREAS Yonkers Public Schools, will change the configuration of School 17, located at 745 Midland Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10704, BEDS#662300010017 to optimize student transitions and development.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That we, the Members of the Board of Education, do hereby request the Board of Regents of the State of New York to change the grade configuration of School 17 at the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year.
