Rationale:
|
By resolution 15.23 dated March 16, 2022 the Board of Trustees authorized the award of Contract 2022-0602 “On-Call Professional Construction Management Services” to Triton Construction for $1,000,000.00.
This is to amend this contract to increase the limit of the contract from $1.0 million to $2.0 million with no change in the contract term.
Triton is engaged in multiple capital improvement projects for the District and is reaching the upper limit of the original amount specified in the original contract. The funding amounts shown are merely an upper limit for expenditure under this agreement and not encumbered by this resolution. Such funds will be encumbered for specific projects via Board Resolution as the needs arise.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: By resolution 15.23 dated March 16, 2022 the Board of Trustees authorized the award of Contract 2022-0602 “On-Call Professional Construction Management Services” to Triton Construction for $1,000,000.00.
WHEREAS: Triton Construction is engaged in multiple capital improvement projects for the District and is reaching the upper limit of the original amount specified in the original contract, and
WHEREAS: Additional funds in the amount of $1,000,000.00 is required to complete said projects and to be available for any additional capital improvement work, and
WHEREAS: The original term of the contract will remain at 3 years, renewable by mutual consent for two additional years and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools be authorized to amend Contract 2022-0602 “On-Call Professional Construction Management Services” to Triton Construction, 30 East 33rd Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10016 by $1,000,000.00 increasing the upper limit to $2,000,000.00 with no change in term.
