Rationale:
|
Award Capital Purchase Order for Four 2023 Ford Transit-250 Cargo Low Roof Vans from Vance Country Ford with a 5 year extended warranty bumper to bumper for each vehicle in the amount of $176,811.48 for a term of 365 calendar days.
Bid No RFB-6830 was issued for public bid and opened and read aloud in public on July 29, 2022. There were two bidders and Vance Country Ford, 5400 S. Division Street, Guthrie, OK 73044 was the lowest.
These are a direct replacement for current aged vans and will be a one to one swap with older vehicles that are beyond their useful life. There is no increase in the number of vehicles in the fleet.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: the School Facilities Management Department needs four (4) 2023 Ford Transit-250 Cargo Low Roof Van replacement vehicles for use by our Maintenance Department and,
WHEREAS: the vehicles currently used daily throughout the district are no longer economically serviceable, they will be taken out of service and in short order put up for public auction, and
WHEREAS: Four (4) such vehicles are available for purchase in accordance with General Municipal Law from Vance Country Ford for a total amount $176,811.48 and for a term of 365 calendar days.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the award for purchasing the four (4) vehicles listed above be awarded to: Vance Country Ford, 5400 S Division Street, Guthrie, OK 73044.
